The Mediator

She locks eyes with me

while she undresses.

I do not know,

I do not know,

The right from wrong

Or the way to address,

To undress

Both self and heart.

She lowers herself

To a plane of existence

I cannot begin to comprehend.

Her eyes grow still

Caught in a glaze,

A daze.

A maze I cannot follow.

I keep watch for her return
